TUNE · Speed & accessibility

Make your existing site fast on a phone.

You may not need a new website. You may need the one you have to stop taking six seconds to load on a phone on mobile data. We measure it with Google’s own tool, fix what is slow or broken, and show you the before and after.

How we actually do it

Google PageSpeed and Lighthouse for performance, SEO, best practices and accessibility, plus axe-core for accessibility violations across every page — the same gate every site we build has to pass. Typical work: image compression and modern formats, removing render-blocking requests, fixing layout shift, adding the missing metadata, correcting contrast and alt text. You get the before and after reports as files, so it is checkable rather than claimed. Measured context: the median mobile performance score across 1,356 NZ trade sites is 60, and only 8.6% score above 90.

What you actually get

  • Google’s own before-and-after measurements, given to you as files
  • Images, loading and layout shift fixed
  • Accessibility violations found and corrected
  • Search metadata completed

Where it fits

Straight answers

Fair questions.

What if my site can’t be made fast?

Some platforms have a ceiling — a heavy theme with twenty plugins can only go so far. We will measure it first and tell you honestly what is achievable before you pay anything.

Will you break my site?

We work on a copy and show you the result before anything replaces what you have.
