Privacy
This website runs no analytics, sets no cookies of its own, and does not track you. That is not a policy position we are proud of announcing — it is just what happens when you build a site out of static files instead of assembling one out of other people’s scripts.
What this website collects
- Nothing, until you type something into a form. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
- Fonts are served from this website, not from a font provider, so no third party is told you were here.
- One exception, and it never leaves your computer: the Build page saves what you have added to your browser’s local storage under the key ronny.bench.v1, so your list survives a refresh. Clearing your browser data deletes it. We cannot see it.
What we collect when you get in touch
- Whatever you put in the form: your name, business name, website, email, phone, and your message. We use it to reply to you and to build the thing you asked for.
- Form submissions are delivered to hi@ronny.co.nz by Web3Forms, which handles the delivery and does not use your details for anything else.
- Email is hosted with Zoho. Anything you email us lives in that mailbox.
What happens when you pay
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch this website or any system of ours — we never see a card number.
- Stripe tells us the amount, what was bought, and the email you used, so we can invoice you and get on with the work.
- Stripe sets its own cookies on its own checkout pages, under its own privacy policy.
Who hosts this and what they log
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare records requests — IP address, time, page — for security and to keep the service up. We do not analyse those logs and we cannot connect them to you.
How long we keep things
- Enquiries stay in the mailbox until they are no longer useful.
- If you ask us to build you a site and then say no, we delete the build and the details you sent us.
- Records of things you have paid for are kept for seven years, because Inland Revenue requires it.
Your rights
- Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hi@ronny.co.nz and we will do it, without asking why.
- We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing. Not ever, and not to anyone.
- If we ever add analytics we will say so on this page and date it, and it will be something that does not track individuals.
- If you think we have got this wrong you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
